Research Interests

Daquan's research focus lies in the comprehensive numerical exploration of tidal dynamics, encompassing the intricate behaviors of tides, internal tides, and internal waves. He is particularly intrigued by unraveling the complexities of their formation mechanisms, dissipation processes, and their dynamic interplay with larger-scale oceanic phenomena, including general circulations and mesoscale eddies.
