Elissar holds a Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering from the Lebanese University, as such as a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on applied energy from the American University of Beirut. Her academic background has equipped her with a strong foundation in both petrochemical processes and applied energy systems.
