Junchuan Sun

Dr. Sun specializes in regional ocean modeling and atmosphere-ocean coupled modeling, with a specific interest in the interactions between the open ocean and marginal seas. His current research involves dynamical downscaling projections to investigate climate change impacts on the Red Sea. This project aims to provide insights into various aspects of the Red Sea’s response to climate change, including sea level changes, marine heatwaves, salinity variability, and so on.
