Biography
Rihab Larayedh pursued her studies in mathematics and physics at the University of Sfax, where she distinguished herself by ranking among the top 1% in the Tunisian national contest of mathematics and physics in 2018. Her academic journey continued as she excelled, graduating with first-class honors in multidisciplinary engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie in 2021. Later, in 2023, she attained her Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences (AMCS) from KAUST, building upon her prior research experience with the institution as a visiting student under the mentorship of Professor Ibrahim Hoteit.
Research Interests
Rihab is interested in underwater acoustics and modeling shipping noise to safeguard underwater marine ecosystems, particularly focusing on protecting Red Sea corals.
