We are always interested in engaging with talented and motivated students, postdoctoral researchers,
and research scientists who are excited to work at the frontiers of climate, ocean, atmospheric, and environmental science, people who enjoy working across disciplines and developing innovative approaches
to complex environmental problems.
At the CLIMATics Research Group at
KAUST, our research
brings together climate and environmental physics, advanced numerical modeling, Earth observations, data assimilation, and artificial intelligence to better understand, predict, and respond to environmental challenges across the Arabian Peninsula and
beyond. We welcome researchers and students interested in areas including:
- Climate variability, change, and extreme events
- Dust, aerosols, and air quality
- Red Sea and Arabian Gulf oceanography
- Earth system and environmental modeling
- Earth observations and data assimilation
- AI and environmental intelligence
- Urban climate and environmental systems
If you are interested in joining or collaborating with the CLIMATics team, please send your CV and a brief description of your research interests to climatics@kaust.edu.sa
